Physical Product Design
Physical Product Design
I was contracted at Starbucks/Pacific Marketing International to work on multiple products related to their drinkware. My first project was creating product design concepts based on the trends seen by my team at an international material trend show in Paris. Some of these designs also moved forward and were produced in a similar format after my time at Starbucks. The second project that I worked on was creating a series of product concepts for the upcoming “Year of the Dog” launch. Some of my designs were chosen to be produced internationally.

Trend Forecast Product Design
Another aspect of my role at PMI was product ideation based on forecasted design global trends. In partnership with my director, Lauren Wallace, I researched future material and color trends and created a product proposal for my internal design time, as well as Starbucks corporate. I then translated and expanded these material trends to physical products, creating renders and proposal books that were presented to the Starbucks sales team. This project is spec work.
Year of the Dog Series
For the Year of the Dog product concepts, I created visual concepts and 3-D renders based on the collection’s annual brand guidelines. I then created a series of product proposals which I presented internally, some of the designs from which were chosen for international distribution.
